National Night Out is August 4th

Keep your fingers crossed that this amazin’ summer weather will hold out, for America’s night out…National Night Out!

On Tuesday, August 4th, Americans come together in their neighborhoods to celebrate the 31st Annual National Night Out. In 1984, “America’s Night Out Against Crime” began in an effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, and neighborhood camaraderie. The goal is to send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and are fighting back. National Night Out culminates annually, on the first Tuesday of August. (with a few exceptions, as you’ll see!).

Here’s what is happening in your neighborhood, in terms of NNO organized events.  Read more…

The event features: Milwaukee Flyers tumbling group, M.O.M.A. (Movers of Main Attraction) dance group, O.G Steppers dance group, and Starbuck Middle School’s Spirit Squad. Have fun playing Basketball, Double Dutch & more.
